About Aftermarket

Aftermarket.dev is a family of developer tools that repair, extend, adapt, test, secure and preserve software after its first release. The idea comes from car parts and independent repair shops, where a whole industry grows up around products it doesn’t own.

The family includes AfterPatch, AfterAPI, Afterlife, AfterHook, AfterSchema, AfterConfig, AfterTest, AfterBridge, AfterGuard and AfterDiff, plus a few research ideas. AfterPatch, AfterAPI, AfterTest, AfterDiff, AfterConfig, AfterHook, AfterGuard, AfterSchema and AfterBridge are out.

The code is open source under Apache 2.0 at github.com/aftermarket-dev/aftermarket. AfterPatch 0.1.0 is released. The other tools are still plans, and this site always says which is which.
